This call got created from a conversation with Leann. She was feeling the intensity of a financial deadline for a return trip that she really wanted to take. And I just instantly jumped in and asked what I could contribute.

I'm already so incredibly grateful.
When I went the first time to Lusaka, Zambia it was an absolute dream come true! I heard of the organization through a friend and watched her travel there and build a home in the Tree of Life Village. I had to go!!
I was so overwhelmed with joy and so impacted by my experience. My 13-year-old son travelled with me and between the two of us we worked with 21 children during camp. 14 of those children didn’t have sponsors. The sponsorship was to cover going to school in one of the Family Legacy schools, school uniform and a meal each day! Once we returned home through friends and family, we were able to find a sponsor for each child! We were so grateful.
I have two sponsored children and can’t wait to go back and see them. They have been in school for almost 2 years now and communicating back and forth with them during the last couple years has been so rewarding. The progress they are making in school is amazing! I can’t wait to hug them and just love them up.
I am so grateful for the support that I have received from friends and family of my community so far and am so grateful for Christel highlighting this organization and myself to help me achieve my goal of going back to Africa!!!

I've known Leann for several years: she's just recently started playing on my team. The day I heard her say, "I'll have more of my attention here when I've got the funds raised for Africa", was the day it came out of my mouth: "Well, what can I contribute?" And this call was born. I don't know all the choices it takes to create the world I'd like to see, but I know I can always make another one. Thank you so much for being here and making the choices you are, too.
Since our founding in 2003, Family Legacy has pursued a God-directed mission to create a positive change in the desperate reality of the orphaned and vulnerable children of Lusaka, Zambia.
Due to the scourge of HIV/AIDS and the extreme poverty that breeds hopelessness and despair, Zambia had become a community predominately comprised of children. In fact, to this day, nearly half of Zambia’s population are children age 14 or under. Zambia was a land in crisis and its children were quickly becoming a lost and abandoned generation. Dedicated to the goal of changing Zambia one child at a time, Family Legacy is recasting the future of this nation. Our work provides for almost 15,000 orphaned and vulnerable children’s lives to be transformed through the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the compassionate hearts of individuals and families sponsoring them to attend one of our twenty-four Legacy Academy Christian schools or a high-quality government school. Among these, more than 700 of the most vulnerable children live in full-time care at the Tree of Life Children’s Village.

Christel Crawford is an Access Consciousness Certified Facilitator. A self-trained graphic designer & creative director, she's the lead on projects around the world, and loves finding the continuity, messaging, imagery & visibility that makes people's ideas sing into reality.

Katherine Oster is an Access Consciousness Certified Facilitator, Professional Horse Trainer and Dressage Coach, who has an ease and speed with instituting systems she's discovering and uncovering! Katherine loves being on the creative edge with horses, business and her life!
