My story really begins with this comment:
I wish I could find a way to be happy.
I was separated, heading to divorce for the second time, completely on my own in a tiny town, living on the edge of a lake, and I was starting to feel desperate - again. Not knowing what I was looking for, but needing something to keep my emotional feet under me, I started seeking. And through it all, stumbled me into an old Bible School friend who had Access Consciousness listed as her employer.
Those two words sparked a Googling frenzy. I got more and more confused and down the rabbit hole. But after a persistent two weeks, I finally found a website (and a facilitator) near-ish to me, and emailed them. One "I have no idea where to start with this stuff: can you help me?" later, I signed up for a 90 minute Access Bars session that completely and utterly - changed my life.
